An individual experience with a collective spirit..
Words that stand behind the camera.
Samaa’s participation in the Third Scientific Conference of the Arab Resuscitation Council was not merely an act of documentation or news coverage.
It was an opportunity to discover a deeper meaning of media partnership within the medical field.
Inside the conference halls, over three days in Dubai (October 16–18, 2025), I was searching for that shared spirit that unites the doctor, the trainer, the student, and the volunteer, the spirit that turns “saving lives” into a mission shared by all.
I arrived in Dubai alone, carrying a single camera, a few lenses, and a small bag that held everything I needed to move between workshops and halls. Yet I found myself surrounded by a team that never hesitated to offer help and support.
Thank you — sincerely — to all of you.
What Media Partnership Means to Me
To me, media partnership means being allowed to become part of the event, to enter its details, understand its message, and then create your own message that might leave a lasting impact.
The Impact
The feedback from participants and organizers was heartwarming.
I felt that the message had reached its destination:
Health media is one of the essential pillars of medical events
Through this experience, I realized that some works do not require a large team or a massive budget — only a human vision and a lens capable of seeing beyond the surface of the image.
In Conclusion
For Samaa to serve as a media partner in a scientific conference of this scale is both a responsibility and an opportunity:
An opportunity to be part of a noble collective effort — and a responsibility, because what the lens documents is what will remain.
In the end, when I first designed the Samaa website, I placed on its homepage an image of two chairs facing each other across a round table.
I meant for it to symbolize the meeting of media and medicine at one table — and that’s where the story of “Media and Medicine” truly began.
