Saving Lives .. A Language Everyone Understands…

At the Third Scientific Conference of the Arab Resuscitation Council, medical skill was not the only thing present, it was the human spirit that stood out as the true headline.

In an inspiring scene, we documented workshops where deaf and mute participants were trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and blind participants learned essential first-aid skills.

These sessions were led by experienced specialists who believed that saving lives should never be limited to a certain group.

Those humanitarian initiatives carried a profound message, that people of determination are not only partners in life, but partners in saving it as well.

A Scientific Spirit… and Real-World Experience

The conference sessions were rich with research papers and field experiences presented by professionals who had faced real-life emergencies during disasters and wars in their own Arab countries.

They shared the essence of their expertise with attendees, adding a practical and realistic dimension to the event.

Among the creative highlights was the “Resuscitation Passport”, an innovative educational concept that turned learning into an engaging journey.

Each participant carried a small passport and passed through four training stations, where they completed practical tests and received a stamped seal after each stage.

It was an enjoyable, interactive experience, one I hope to see implemented in schools and educational environments soon, given its powerful impact in building skills and spreading CPR awareness across all segments of society.

Organization and Spirit

It would be impossible to speak about the conference without acknowledging the remarkable teamwork and organization shown by the committee, and that constant smile that accompanied everyone, organizers, guests, and participants alike.

Over the three days, I met a large number of Arab doctors and specialists, alongside international experts who added scientific depth and practical richness to the event.

The Lens of Samaa

The lens of Samaa made sure not to miss a single moment, documenting workshops, sessions, the accompanying exhibition, and a collection of interviews that carried diverse voices and stories.

You will soon see them, God willing, in a series of short documentary films that reflect the spirit of the conference and convey its message to everyone:

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a culture of life, and a shared human responsibility.
