The SAMAA Health Media Initiative was established as an independent entity, distinct from the commercial operations of SAMAA Media.
Its objective is to create concise, meticulously curated educational films that underscore the significance of medical specialties and shed light on scientific conferences and events. This endeavor facilitates the dissemination of their messages to the public in a clear and accessible manner.
Among the events listed in the Samaa Medical Calendar, select ones are chosen for coverage based on their alignment with the knowledge-centric themes that SAMAA prioritizes in its awareness films, produced as part of this initiative.
From these events, short awareness films are produced and published exclusively on the SAMAA YouTube channel, adhering to a content strategy that simplifies and communicates scientific messages to the general public in an engaging and professional manner.
This production approach aligns with the recommendations of the National Association of Science Writers (NASW), which emphasizes the paramount importance of conveying scientific knowledge in clear, intelligible language and fostering effective communication between the public and the academic outcomes of medical events.
The initiative is implemented through voluntary partnerships with medical societies, councils, and nonprofit organizations, in support of its educational and humanitarian mission. All productions are subject to SAMAA’s official Licensing Policy.
